Long story short, my profession is education. I’ve worked in corporate, non-profit and higher educational settings. My first degree was English Lit because of my love of writing and reading and my second degree was in Human Resource Development (Education) because of my need for a profession that allows me to eat.
I have been a technical and sales trainer, instructional designer, new product functionality documentor, wilderness survival leader, English teacher, program manager, writer, poet and, in my current incarnation, academic skills instructor.
I have learned from my mistakes, but I don’t regret any of them. Sometimes I followed the path of most resistance, but it’s been an amazing journey.
